We are pleased to be able to add a new class to our schedule which will start on 7th June 2019.
Description: Aimed at the complete beginner this Watercolour Painting class will enable you to
learn how to capture light, colour and represent seasonal compositions.
The group will be taught by painting step-by-step demonstrations with individual support and 1:1 tuition.
Initially, we will be painting simple compositions of mainly skies and representing a variety of weather conditions.
During the sessions we will be exploring techniques in Watercolour from the basics of colour mixing, learning how to leave paper white, blend variegated washes with controlled wet-in-wet and achieve fresh glazes to the more advanced methods of creating special textural effects.
This class will teach and inspire you to create fresh vibrant paintings with rich tonal value, confident brush marks and enable you to develop your own painting style.
Students are required to provide their own equipment. A full list of art materials will be provided during the first session.

Sessions: Weekly 1pm – 3.30pm
Cost: £10 payable as attended to include tea / coffee and biscuits
